CITY OF WHITING HIRES VICTUS ADVISORS TO DEVELOP IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR TWO NEW SPORTS MUSEUMS

1/9/2014 1:10:43 PM December 2013 - Victus Advisors has been hired by the City of Whiting, Indiana (a Chicago suburb located on the South Shore of Lake Michigan), to create a comprehensive development and implementation plan for two new sports museums, the Chicago Baseball Museum (www.chicagobaseballmuseum.org) and the Mascot Hall of Fame (www.mascothalloffame.com). Victus Advisors previously worked with the Mascot Hall of Fame to present a preliminary market analysis to the City of Whiting. Under this new contract with the City, Victus Advisors will analyze both the Mascot Hall of Fame and the Chicago Baseball Museum, including:

- analysis of potential museum exhibits and programming
- recommendations regarding facility design including square footage, special use areas, f&b, operational areas, etc.
- projections regarding attendance and revenues/expenses
- financial sensitivity analysis and operational scenario modeling
- development of a timeline for implementation (design, ground breaking, engineering/construction, staffing, etc.)
- marketing and branding analysis for both museums and the City of Whiting as tourist destinations
- economic and fiscal impact analysis of the construction and operations of two new sports museums in Whiting
