USBC Renews Contract with Victus Advisors to Conduct Surveys with Open & Women's Championship Participants

8/8/2013 10:59:04 AM August 2013 - The United States Bowling Congress (USBC), the national governing body (NGB) for the sport of bowling in the United States, has engaged Victus Advisors again to conduct market research regarding their USBC Open Championships and the USBC Women's Championships. The 2013 editions of these championship tournaments were held in Reno, Nevada, and they typically draw more than 100,000 combined visitors to their host cities. Victus Advisors will conduct on-line surveys with bowlers who participated in each 2013 championship tournament, with the goal of understanding the bowlers':

- Demographics/socioeconomics
- Travel habits
- Lodging preferences
- Spending characteristics while in the host city, and
- Levels of satisfaction with the host city, tournament operations, and bowling experience.

The ultimate outcomes of the study will be to develop detailed estimates of hotel room nights, car rental days, and direct spending generated by USBC in Reno, as well as to measure customer satisfaction so that USBC can continue to enhance the bowler experience at their championship tournaments.
